About Embrace and Empower, Inc.

 A transplant from the Berkshires, now living in the Adirondacks, Natale is dedicated to ensuring that all individuals navigating breast cancer have access to vital support and resources. Inspired by personal experience, Natale founded Embrace & Empower to provide mentorship, education, and advocacy for individuals facing breast cancer, their caregivers, and those at risk. With a commitment to fostering a supportive and welcoming environment, Natale leads the organization in developing programs that offer guidance, connection, and encouragement throughout the breast cancer journey. Through Embrace & Empower, Natale is working to ensure that no one feels alone in their fight and that every individual has access to compassionate, knowledgeable support. 

 Leah Reed Casey, MSW, is a dedicated social worker with a master’s degree in Social Work and extensive experience in community service and advocacy. As a Service Coordinator for the Department of Developmental Services, Leah works to support individuals and families, ensuring access to resources that enhance their quality of life. A proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the Women of Color Giving Circle, Leah is passionate about fostering connections, providing guidance, and helping individuals navigate challenges. She is also a devoted mother to her two children and a passionate dog lover. 

Melisa Roberts, a lifelong resident of the Adirondacks, brings nearly a decade of bookkeeping experience to her role as Treasurer of Embrace & Empower, Inc. Currently employed at Fitzgerald Brothers Beverages, a local Pepsi distributor in the Glens Falls area, she manages accounts payable and receivable, ensuring vendors are paid promptly and customer accounts remain current. Melisa’s passion for breast cancer awareness and support stems from her sister-in-law’s courageous journey through diagnosis, treatment, and survivorship, inspiring her to provide the same compassion and care to others. A devoted wife and mother, she believes even the smallest acts of kindness can make a meaningful impact on someone’s life.
